TEST TAG
Download an NFC-writing app. This is how you will be programming your LNKD tag.
While it's downloading, decide what you want to share using your tag. Here are some easy and popular choices:
- Personal website or portfolio
- Dating app profile
- Social media profile
- Automatic mail/text message
- Bitcoin address
- Files, Phone numbers, & more
Use the NFC-writing app to TEST YOUR TAG.
Tap "Read" and scan your tag when prompted.
- If you see a checkmark, move to the next step.
- If nothing happens and you have tried to troubleshoot (hold the tag longer around the phone camera area, try a different app, etc.) PLEASE REACH OUT TO US using the form below.
**** Sometimes tech doesn't work. We will try to walk you through the issue and offer remedies (refund, replacement, etc.) if the tag fails. ****
PROGRAM TAG
Make sure the link or username you want to share is copied to your clipboard and ready to paste.
Tap "Write."
Tap "Add a Record."
Tap on the kind of "Record" you want to share. If you have a URL link of your photography portfolio, for example, you would tap "URL/URI" and paste the link where prompted. If you have a social media username, you would tap "Social Media," paste your username and choose the platform of your choice.
**** You can add as many Records as the tag can hold (504 bytes), however you can only USE one at a time. In other words, only one Record will pop up on the other person's phone. In the NFC Tools app, the Record at the top of your list is the active one. ****
Now that you've added your record to the app, it's time to transfer it to your LNKD tag.
Tap "Write" to save the data onto the tag.
Scan the tag when prompted.
